就是這些...位於豐原往東勢的路上，建於民國63年，由國人自行設計與完工的水壩，當初為大甲溪的攔河堰，全長700多公尺，是一位橫跨大甲溪的水壩，提供台中縣市民生及工業用水主要水源區。不論遠看或近看皆是壯觀與宏偉，水壩上游攔水成為一個大湖，每當豐水時節，兩岸青山綠水，相連環抱，剎是迷人，下游則礫石成堆風光秀麗。由於石岡水壩附近的自然景觀保持相當完整，林相豐沛，白天經常可在林間或農田水域中發現小白鷺鷥、藍鷓鴣等鳥類出沒，十分珍奇、可愛，是一處適合全家人出遊的景點，更是中部地區極佳的賞鳥觀察站。石岡水壩頂設有遊客服務中心，佔地約220坪。服務中心並以大型幻燈片燈箱、立體浮雕模型、活體養殖展示…等方式，介紹大甲溪流域的魚類、鳥類生態等導覽。東豐自行車綠廊由於921地震，埤豐大橋處因地震錯動形成小瀑布，為歷史留下見證。水壩入口處旁更有原由廢棄的鐵道改成的東豐自行車綠廊。關於石岡水壩這些台灣的英文可以不用翻拜託@@...Showmore
