換汽缸或買新車 - 機車

我的車是車齡十幾年的YAMAHA ForteSV
這陣子車子吃機油的情況越發嚴重，所以有問機車行老闆該如何處理，
老闆是說可能要換新汽缸，換新汽缸加上整裡引擎之後，
再跑五萬公里沒問題，而且還有一年保固。
我詢問的價錢是4500，我覺得ok就讓車子去維修保養了。
但有朋友卻跟我說，幹嘛換汽缸，直接換新車不是比較快？現在新車那麼便宜。
可是我覺得既然這台車還沒有到無法上路的程度，或是修繕費用太高昂，
所以沒必要換台新車。
而且Forte系列的車真的耐操好騎（個人覺得），家裡也有台前兩年買的光陽GP125，
暫時也沒有多餘的錢再買新車。
不知道大家的想法如何？能給小弟一些意見或看法嗎？謝謝^^
