台灣四季平均溫度達20度以上，所以B欄中間的5w30,5w40,10w30,10w40的油品僅可以用於
氣溫15度以下的環境中，所以在台灣並不適用(對97年前的VAG車系而言)。諸如
5w50,15w50,20w50等黏度指數延伸至50的機油才比較適合。
不過黏度指數範圍太寬廣的(如0w60)，機油的配方必須使用較多的黏度指數改進劑
(Viscosit Index Improver)，這種配方是一種"非牛頓流體"，其黏度會因過大的剪力(約
等於工作負荷)而降低甚至損失黏度。也就是說如果工作負荷大(例如常拉RPM或爬坡)，表
示剪力非常高，使用黏度指數範圍過大的機油會提高因油膜破裂導致機件受損的機會。

5w40,15w40,20w40反而比較不適合？
