Bicycles,buses,people,andtaxisfillthestreets,dodgingeachotherwithconstantnarrowmisses,yetinmanyinstances,theflowremainsconstant.And,inspiteoftheseeminglychaoticconditions自行車、公車、行人，還有計程車，充滿了街道，彼此閃躲，每每都是差點就撞上，但在很多這樣的情況下，車流依然前行。而且，儘管看起來似乎是混亂的情況下.....dodgingeachother就是指像打躲避球一樣，人車躲閃。narrowmiss是「差一點就撞上」，避開得很勉強的意思。constant是「一直都如此」，所以constantnarrowmisses就是「每每都差點就撞上」。remainconstant是「情況不變」，這裡指雖然人車閃躲，都差點就撞上，但在這種情況中，車流依然前行。inspiteof是「儘管」。seemingly是「似乎」。chaoticconditions是「混亂的情況」。inspiteoftheseeminglychaoticconditions....「儘管在似乎是一團亂的情況下....」表示後面還有下文。...
