頂級車廠規格>ACEA>API 有ACEA C3通常要認證API SN都沒問題
尤其VW 504/507更是頂規
基本上使用G3 Base+PAO+ PSSI=5(ASTM D6278剪切測試)的黏指劑
已經樂勝一般單純API等級的機油
一般G1~G3+黏指劑PSSI=20~50就可以符合/認證API規範
即使機車剪切較高
但相同黏度下 VW 504/507油品剪切造成黏度損失仍樂勝一般API油品
雖然C3磷含量規範0.06~0.09%
但要同時符合/認證API SN(磷含量規範0.06~0.08%)下
磷大概會落在750~780ppm
JASO雖然為了基本保護性與保護三元觸媒轉化器平衡下定義磷含量0.08~0.12%
其實JASO除了摩擦係數外
其餘的物理性質只要求灰份(<1.2%), 揮發損失(<20%)
發泡試驗, HTHS(>2.9), 剪切損失(ASTM D6278 30循環,XW-30時>9.0)
其實規範很稀鬆平常 因為他是定義在API規範的基本保護性上
而符合這些車廠規範的
灰份<0.8, 揮發損失<10%, HTHS>3.5, 剪切損失更是躺著都過
故即使C3磷含量只有750~780ppm 但保護性還是優於API
只是不會做摩擦係數數據 因為是兩種不同等級油品阿!!
至於磷含量 目前亦有添加劑廠主張>750ppm即可符合JASO規範(四捨五入 0.08% XD)
如果摩擦係數對 也可以做認證
切勿再以元素含量多寡定義保護性高低
或許十幾年前是這樣沒錯 但是添加劑技術的進步 現在這說法已經不太存在了
舉例來說SN磷含量760ppm, SL磷含量1000ppm
但是車架試驗上 SN的抗磨表現仍優於SL
至於說C3 5W30用在機車上
適不適用 好不好用 就自己試吧
畢竟車況 路況 駕駛習慣...等因素影響太大
原廠手冊定義的黏度等級主要是基於單純API情況下
畢竟會拿C3還是VW 504/507用在機車上的人實在是少數XD
車子壞了原廠只會跟你說你自己用油黏度錯了跟他們無關
他們也不懂油 就不要怪他們了XD
至於有人說一般油電車用的GF-5 SN 0W20比較貴
這就又是另外的故事了
