車禍沒保強制險怎麼辦? - 機車

前幾天下班騎車回家時發生車禍
我直行車，對方開車從我左前方右轉要進巷子
我剎車不及撞到他車子右邊的門
警察來了後叫我先坐救護車去包紮
我只有皮肉傷，主要是機車壞掉
對方也滿有誠意的，也有請保險公司與我聯絡
因為機車是家人的名字，所以有連絡家人
結果家人說忘記保強制險.......
警察作筆錄時有說對方會錯比較多
我沒有想要獅子大開口
只想要修車+就醫實支實付
要如何求償比較好呢?
若對方要求我也要賠修車錢我可以不賠嗎?
或是怎樣少賠一點
