根據官方網頁針對佳明 edge 520的介紹如下：

科學化訓練 提升訓練效率
Edge 520 可與相容的 ANT+ 室內訓練台1配對，提供全系列的訓練功能。

假設想以 240 瓦的平均功率進行訓練，只要將此目標傳送到 Edge 520，接著開始踩踏，
訓練台便會自動調整讓您保持在目標功率，並在裝置上顯示數據。

您也可以參照自己或其他人建立的訓練表，與數據紀錄進行比賽，訓練台將依照爬升高度
調整阻力。

Compatible software 可配對的軟體
Tacx Smart trainers use the Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ FE-C protocol for
communication which allows them to be controlled by third-party software.
Tacx Smart trainers使用Bluetooth Smart and ANT+ FE-C通訊協定，並允許第三方軟體
控制(阻力)。

The software receives the speed, cadence and power from the trainer and
