中央社記者林紳旭台北10日電）交通部路政司長陳彥伯今天表示，由於地方政府反對、民
意調查也未過半，交通部今天公告，550cc以上大型重型機車目前不得行駛高速公路。
陳彥伯說，雖然道路交通管理處罰條例已經修正，有條件開放讓550cc以上的紅牌重機可
以上高速公路，但開放的決定，授權由交通部公告，交通部在與地方政府、警政署溝通及
進行民調後，決定暫不開放。
台中市、台南市、高雄市、南投縣和屏東縣等5縣市政府，都向交通部表示「持保留或反
對的意見」，交通部則是在去年10月修法前，委請民調公司進行民調，贊成紅牌重機上國
道者占約42%、不贊成的52%。
陳彥伯說，道路交通管理處罰條例在修法並實施後，紅牌和黃牌重機都能上快速道路，過
一段時間將請國道高速公路局再次做民調，並再與地方政府協調，如果民調支持度過半，
再加上地方政府支持，交通部會再評估紅牌重機上國道的問題。
陳彥伯表示，重機騎士不論紅牌重機或黃牌重機(251到550cc以下)，都應該發揮高度自制
的精神，切實遵守交通規則，不隨意超速、變換車道，以便爭取更多民眾的支持。
