T字路口待轉號誌 - 機車

想請問如附圖(台中市惠中路&市政北七路口)這種T字路口，設有待轉標誌及待轉格
若欲從惠中路(往台灣大道方向)左轉市政北七路，則進入待轉格後應該遵照哪邊的號誌行
進?
1.我的觀念是進入待轉格後就要等橫向路口(市政北七路)的綠燈再前進，因為一般十字路
口進入待轉格後也是待橫向路口綠燈才前進。
2.好像大部分人都會在原行進路線(以此例就是惠中路)的左轉燈亮起後就會開始行進。開
車在此路口左轉時常因此和外側待轉而來的機車交織，感覺十分危險。
