20w50 i am having same 3 speed auto and i am using petromin ultra 20W-50 because of
the hot weather in lahore now a days and having no complain and my car is
giving around 12.5 km/l with a/c all time in city with a heavy foot

20w-50 is not suitable for these engines in any climate, see owner's manual
for recommended viscosity. 5w-30 is good enough for all kind of weathers. If
you need extra satisfaction, go for some good fully synthetic 5w-40 oil.

You can use the 5w-30 in Nigeria. Synthetics are good for all cars, though
some believe that the extra cost isn't warranted for an old vehicle. If the
vehicle states that you have to use 0w-20 or Xw-20, then stick to that. The
first variable (Xw) is only applicable at starting. Once the engine turns
over, it cancels out. So, 0w/5w/10w-30 is all the same. The second variable
is what matters. The first variable specifies cold fluid-flow.

I deviated from my Rotella 5w40 (or T6) standard to try the Mobil 1 0w40.
This is not a prize-scooter by any means and was bought cheap, so it's
perfect to experiment on. Worst case, i'm not out much.
